Kapelis Packaging continues to invest in sustainable packaging solutions, introducing the renewed Halopack to the market with an improved design and significantly reduced pricing.
It is the only paper based tray offering consistent industrial performance and uniformity, covering a substantial market gap compared to lower quality imitations.
At the same time, it offers an easy, safe and proven transition from plastic to paper packaging, without compromising functionality or industrial production.
Since its launch until today, more than 20 million trays have been used, including 9.2 million produced by the company, making a significant contribution to the reduction of environmental footprint.

• Reduction of plastic use by up to 90% compared to equivalent conventional solutions
• Avoidance of approximately 315 tons of plastic and over 1,370 tons of CO₂ that would have been emitted during the production of an equivalent number of fully plastic trays
• An environmentally friendly production solution “made in Greece” through the investment of Kapelis Packaging

In terms of design, Halopack has now been upgraded with a subtle but meaningful change in the geometry of its base, which has been transformed from rectangular to octagonal, without the need to modify existing sealing machines.

This improvement offers:
• Better product presentation on the shelf
• Increased structural strength
• Improved control of food shelf life
At the same time, Kapelis Packaging, in collaboration with its raw material suppliers, is proceeding with price reductions, further strengthening the competitiveness of the solution in the market despite ongoing international challenges.
