Doypack® bags can easily be hermetically sealed using a simple heat-sealing machine.
If they have a kraft coating or an aluminum layer, a specialized heat sealer is required, with a wide seal and both jaws heated.
Doypack bags are also suitable for shelf-life extension techniques, such as pasteurization or Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP), provided they have the appropriate properties.
Finally, for higher speeds, there are automatic packaging machines that either use ready-made, pre-formed pouches, or form them on the spot (adding a zip or valve if needed) from a simple roll of suitable film.
