Virgin Paper Raw Material!

These trays are made from virgin paper raw material—white, of high chemical and microbiological purity—for even safer direct contact with food. They feature a polyester (PET) or polyethylene (PE) coating, depending on application requirements, applied to the cardboard through extrusion coating (spray application) without the use of glue or solvents.

This combination ensures certified suitability for contact with dry, aqueous, acidic, fatty foods, and foods containing alcohol. It guarantees the absence of heavy metals, chlorinated by-products, and other harmful substances, as well as GMO-derived materials (GMO-free).

Naturally, compliance with European (EU) and American (FDA) regulations, as well as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) protocols, is assured.

Features

■ Extended resistance to moisture penetration: The coating delays the absorption of liquid content from packaged food into the cardboard, preventing softening and leakage—even in acidic conditions such as fresh-cut salad with vinegar or lemon juice dressing. PET can retain moisture for longer.

■Reduced permeability to oxygen, carbon dioxide, and odors/aromas, as well as lower susceptibility to microbial degradation./li>

■Compatible with plastic or suitable paper lids.

■Can be sealed with appropriate film using a matching sealing machine.

■Custom printing available on the exterior surface, using food-safe, heat-resistant inks, with up to 100% coverage.

■A widely tested solution in international markets.

One of the greatest advantages of this packaging is its environmental friendliness, as it consists of approximately 90% cardboard and only 10% plastic, making it recyclable according to EN13430 standards.
