Polystyrene (PS) gives rigid, clear and light trays, ideal for enhanced product image. Oriented PS (OPS) is even stronger, clearer and suitable for short use in microwaves. High Impact PS (HIPS) is resistant to brake on impacts and is also suitable for freezing conditions. There is finally Expanded PS version (EPS) which produces foam trays.
